DRAFTMAN'S CONGRESS - COMING FEBRUARY 2014

Members of CBIG will participate in the New Museum's Draftman's Congress (a live painting/drawing event) in association with an exhibit by the artist Pawel Althamer in February 2014. Althamer first created this event at the Berlin Biennale 2012. A number of local art groups from different art disciplines have been invited to create art on the blank walls of the fourth floor gallery throughout the exhibit. (Please note that this is not strictly a children's event and fine artists participating may include nude drawings). This is a celebration of all types of art and illustration. The walls will be cut apart at the conclusion of the exhibit and distributed to visitors. Participating members at the Feb 16 session: Diane Alison, Yuko Katakawa, Donna Miskend, Marilyn Papas, Kitty Leech, Madonna Davidoff, Nancy Doniger, Amalia Hoffman, Angelique Anderson, Lisa Cinelli. Stay tuned for further news and links to the museum's web site.
